摘要
Novel methods of measurement the permittivity are presented. The split-cylinder resonator is used for the measurement of complex permittivity for low-loss dielectric materials. The complex permittivity of the sample, which is placed outside of an open-ended rectangular wave-guide is evaluated from the reflection coefficient of this flange mounted wave-guide. The methods are simple, accurate and nondestructive. They may be used for large -scale quality control purposes.
