摘要
Investigators studying the mechanisms of toxicity in dairy cows have focused mainly on the effects of mycotoxins on milk production. However, in most cases the milk production, including milk fat and protein content, was not greatly affected by dietary mycotoxins. Most mycotoxins are hepatotoxic. Liver damage caused by mycotoxins is an important metabolic disorder of high-producing cows. This paper describes the effects of the most relevant mycotoxins on liver function of dairy cattle.
