摘要
This paper describes antennas designed with a deductive approach that allows the desired electromagnetic proper-ties to be specified. The wire configuration that most closely produces these results is synthesized. The resulting so-called genetic antennas were built and tested. Agreement with the computational results was good. The antennas that have been designed with this process have a weird shape with wires going in haphazard directions. These designs could never be obtained using the inductive approach that has been used in the past. This new process may revolutionize the design of wire antennas.
