摘要
The precipitation of iron in B2 NiAl was investigated via TEM, micro-hardness and magnetic property measurement. The alloys were prepared using 99.95 wt.% Ni shot, 99.99 wt.% Al pellets and 99.9 wt.% Fe by the non-consumable arc melting and the drop casting into a 12 mm(D) × 40 mm(L) copper chill mold. The precipitation of iron in NiAl-Fe pseudo binary alloy was dependent on the thermal vacancies present.
