Direct torque control of BLDC motor without flux linkage observation for four-wheel drive electric vehicle

摘要
In this paper, a simplified direct torque control without flux linkage observation method for a BLDC motor has been used to control in-wheel motors of electric vehicles. According to the characteristics of the BLDC motor, the relationship between the voltage vectors and torque is analyzed and the optimal voltage vector selection rule is gained based on it. The current limiting is achieved by the control of motor torque. This control strategy is extensively used in electric vehicle application. Modelling and simulation is carried out in standard MATLAB/SIMULINK software. The analysis is valuable by the simulation results and it provides the theoretical basis to improve the performance of direct torque control of BLDC in-wheel motor.
