摘要
The aim of this special issue, entitled HVDC Insulation and Diagnostics, is to provide a state-of-the-art of all aspects related to the design, manufacturing, operation and diagnosis of all HVDC components (transformers, valves, insulators, cables, GIS). These topics are covered by a total of 25 papers, 11 from China, 10 from Europe, one from Canada and Korea, two from IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) technical committees. In the call, the suggested topics were: • New materials for HVDC insulation systems • Design of HVDC and UHVDC components: challenges related to space charge, voltage polarity reversal, repetitive fast transients, mixed AC+DC waveforms • Space charge measurements including measurements on full-size equipment • Partial discharge detection and analysis under dc and mixed AC+DC waveforms • Innovative diagnostic tools © 1994-2012 IEEE.
