摘要
Objective: To study the expression of MACC1 and MMP2 in the bladder urothelial carcinoma, and explore their relationships and the clinical significances. Methods: adopt the immunohistochemical method to test the expression of MACC1 and MMP2 proteins in 60 cases of the bladder cancers and 13 cases of the normal bladder mucosa. The results: the positive rate of MACC1 protein in the bladder cancer tissues (65%) is significantly higher than that of the normal bladder mucosa (15.38%), (P<0.05). The positive rate of MMP2 protein in the bladder cancer tissues (71.67%) is significantly higher than that of the normal bladder mucosa (23.08%), (P<0.05). Conclusion: the increase of the expression of the MACC1 protein and the clinical stages of the bladder cancer and its recurrence is closely related, and are positively correlated with MMP2. The combined detection of MACC1 and MMP2 will help determine the early diagnosis and the judgment of the prognosis of the patients with the bladder cancer. In the world scope, the bladder cancer is a common malignant tumor, ranking the ninth in all the malignant tumors ([1]). In most countries, including America, in the pathology, more than 90% are the urothelial carcinoma ([2]). Operation is the preferred treatment, but the conditions of some patients are hidden, and when discovered, it has metastasized, losing the chance of operation, so the prognosis is poor. There is an urgent need to find the new tumor markers, to enhance the rate of the early diagnosis, to achieve the early detection and the early treatment. The present studies found that a variety of the abnormal gene expressions are related to its occurrence, wherein closely related with the MACC1. MACC1 (metastasis-associated with colon cancer-1) gene is the metastasis gene of the human colon cancer cells STEIN U found, which is located on the human No. 7 chromosomes (7p21.1) ([3]) A number of studies show that MACC1 has a high expression in a variety of cancer tissues, and the tumor patients with high MACC1 expressions are poor in the prognosis ([3-7]). We examined the expression of the MACC1 (Osteopontin, MACC1) and MMP2 in 60 cases of the bladder cancers by immunohistochemistry SP method, to investigate the mutual relationship between it with the bladder cancer clinical, and the pathological significance.
