Preparation, spectral characterization, biological and thermal studies of organotin(IV) thiohydrazide complexes

摘要：
The complexes of piperidine-N-thiohydrazide and organotin(IV) of the type R3Sn(L)Cl, R2Sn(L)Cl-2 where [R=C6H5CH2 (benzyl), p-ClC6H4CH2 (p-chlorobenzyl), L=Piperidine-N-thiohydrazide] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, electronic and (HNMR)-H-1 spectral data. Thermodynamic parameters have been calculated, using thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analytical (DTA) curves, and their variations have been correlated with some structural parameters of the complexes. The ligands, as well as their organotin (IV) complexes, exhibit appreciable antibacterial and antifungal activity against E.coli, Z.mobilis bacterial strains and A.niger, Cerveleria fungal strains, respectively.
