摘要
As a retrieval interface for image data in image databases, a method to specify several image features as retrieval key is wed. However the concept and the method for specifying image features are different in each database. It is necessary to resolve some heterogeneity issues to obtain the desired image data from such databases. This paper proposes an information resource management method and integrated retrieval method to resolve the heterogeneity in image databases and achieve integrated retrieval ill a multi-database environment containing image databases.
