摘要
The past year has seen a considerable expansion in knowledge about the field of apoptosis modulators expressed by DNA viruses. These diverse classes of virus-encoded regulators include caspase inhibitors, signal transduction effecters, Bcl-2 homologs, cell cycle control proteins, transcriptional regulators, reactive oxide scavengers, kinases, 'death factors' and novel host-range proteins.
