Influence of moisture and temperature loading on strength of beech wood loaded in compression

摘要
The influence of moisture content, of temperature as well as of their mutual interaction on the beech wood strength limit in compression parallel to grain and on the conventional strength limit in compression perpendicular to grain were studied experimentally for various heating periods. Regression equations were constructed for quantification of these influences. Also the analysis of results variability is given in this work.
