摘要
Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles have been used as an efficient and recyclable catalyst for one-pot synthesis of 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthene derivatives via condensation of aromatic aldehydes and 5,5-dimethyl-1,3- cyclohexanedione under mild reaction conditions in good to excellent yields. ZnO nanoparticles were easily recycled from the reaction mixture and were reused three times without any loss in activity.
