The authors applied two biophysical measurement techniques to evaluate the severity of palsy and the outcome in children with obstetric brachial plexus palsy High spatial resolution electromyography reliably determines the reinnervation quality and course. The upper limb movement analysis objectifies co-contractions of biceps and triceps, the indication and value of administering Botulinum. toxin, and the effectiveness of muscle transfers onto the shoulder.
