A new genus, Molaricampa, and species, M.fergusoni, are described from a single locality in northern Alabama. The genus is characterized by the presence of 4 macrochaetae on each side of the pronotum (4 + 4, ma, la, 2 lp). The describption is based on three specimens. The holotype is deposited in The Academy of Natural Sciences, Philadelphia.
