摘要
A parallel fast multipole accelerated boundary integral algorithm suitable for large SMPs is presented. The FMBIEM (Fast Multipole Boundary Integral Equation Method) code is parallelised with OpenMP. The performance of the parallel code is tested with two numerical examples, namely a crack problem for 2D Laplace's equation and an elastostatic inclusion problem in 3D. Particularly remarkable is the fact that the effect of this parallelisation is more pronounced in larger problems or in 3D problems.
