摘要
Up-conversion nanostructures play a vital role in the application of bioimaging, but improving their red up-conversion emission is still a challenging issue. In this regard, an up-conversion system of RbPbI3:Er3+, Yb3+ nanowires with surface plasmons has been employed for improving the red up-conversion emission. It represents the dominant red emission at 652 nm and moderate green emission at 548 nm with a R/G ratio of 1.068. When introducing the oleate complex as a surface ligand in the formation of RbPbI3:Er3+, Yb3+ nanowires, the red emission becomes more dominant which is 8 times greater than that without the surface ligand. The decoration of Au NPs as surface plasmons on the surface of the up-conversion system greatly enhances the red emission as well as lifetime with a R/G ratio of 26:1 based on the local field enhancement effect, and the value is higher than that of previously reported values. Hence, the proposed up-conversion system can cause a dramatic change in the field of bioimaging. Published by AIP Publishing.
