Atomic structures and magnetic transport properties of V and Co-MgO single crystalline composite films

摘要
Single crystalline composite films of Co or V and MgO with volume ratio from 18 to 52% for Co and from 13 to 56% for V were prepared. A typical GMR phenomenon and a minimum of resistivity were found in the magnetic transport measurement, for 18-20% samples and 30-40% samples, respectively. These kinds of well-defined single crystalline composite films of transition metals and metallic oxides gives a new potential to clarify the basis of magnetic transport properties of nanogranular systems.
