Electrophoretic growth of lead zirconate titanate nanorods

摘要
The template-assisted growth of lead zirconate titanate (PZT) was described using the sol-gel electrophoresis. The sol preparation method was used to prepare the desired stoichiometric chemical composition. The nanorods were crystallized and densified using the post-deposition annealing at elevated temperature. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the stoichiometry and chemical compositional homogeneity were not influenced by the electrophoretic deposition. The sol-gel processing allowed molecular level chemical composition homogeneity as one of the advantage.
