摘要:
WiMAX is short for World interoperability for Microwave Access; it is a kind of promising technology for next generation of broadband wireless access. Also it is one of the Third Generation communication standards. NS2 is useful network simulator software for free, and it is supported by many research institutes. So it is a proper network simulator for us. In order to research the WiMAX network, through an extension to the network simulator NS2, a platform of WiMAX simulation is set up. According to the principle of NS2, a simple WiMAX network consisting of six nodes is built and simulated. Finally, the results of simulation are analyzed and discussed..
