摘要
The motion of solid particles in a fluid in a nonlinear ultrasonic standing wave was examined. The effect of focusing the solid particles is used in the facility for the separation of finely dispersed particles. The flow of small-diameter solid particles enters the central channel from the right and from the left. The central channels had the width λ/2 = 1.2 × 10-2 cm and λ/2 = 3.5 × 10-2 cm for the resonant frequencies f = 6.17 × 106 Hz and f = 2.11 × 106 Hz, respectively. The channel is separated into three parts, namely, two side channels and one central channel. The particles are concentrated in the middle of the pipe under the effect of the standing wave. The fluid flowing along the central channel collects all the solid particles, while it turns out that the solid particles are removed from the fluid flowing along the side channels.
