摘要
High-strength Al has been produced by attrition milling in ammonia gas atmosphere and powder consolidation by cold pressing and sintering. Consolidated compacts reach full densification, have an almost nanocrystalline grain (size 200 nm), and abundant nanocrystalline dispersoids. The bulk material has a high tensile strength (515 MPa) and its high-temperature behaviour is outstanding. (c) 2005 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
