Diffractive vector-meson production in polarised lepton-nucleon scattering is extensively studied at. the HERMES experiment. Measurements of the cross section in vector-meson production, at the intermediate energies of HERMES make it possible to distinguish between various mechanisms contributing to this process at different W and Q(2). Recent results on the cross section and the spin density. matrix elements of diffractive exclusive rho(0), phi and omega production are compared to the world data and theoretical predictions. The measurements of the double-spin asymmetries in both exclusive and quasi-real photoproduction of rho(0) and phi mesons are presented.
