摘要：

Nurse practitioner (NP) scope of practice is broadly defined by national nursing policies. The Consensus Model for APRN Regulation: Licensure, Accreditation, Certification, and Education is the hallmark policy that establishes principles outlining the scope of practice for all APRNs. NPs must be familiar with The Consensus Model and with how professional organizations define the scope of practice for each of the 6 NP population foci.
