Gas proportional scintillation detector with a focusing system for X-ray spectrometry

摘要：
A xenon-filled gas proportional scintillation detector with a focusing system is described. Factors affecting its energy resolution are analyzed. An energy resolution of 10.5% for 5.9-keV photons and an input window 30 mm in diameter were obtained. Spectra of characteristic X-ray emissions of different samples are presented as examples.
