Energy transfer, intermittency of the energy dissipation and pressure in decaying turbulence in four dimensions are studied by direct numerical simulation in comparison with three dimensions. It is found that the energy transfer is more efficient in 4d than in 3d. The intermittency of the total energy dissipation and the associated velocity difference (spherical velocity difference) with separation distance r is weaker in 4d than in 3d, while the one dimensional surrogate dissipation rate and the associated longitudinal velocity difference show stronger intermittency in 4d. The statistics of the pressure and pressure gradient are examined and their dependence on the spatial dimension is discussed.
