摘要
From the Middle Ages to the Revolution, the equestrian academies blossom on the whole French territory. They are considered as the courtier's educational plan. For this reason, the central authorities gradually take them under their wing, but without giving them any help, they let the cities assume the financial running. Unknown or badly known, the equerry that direct them, are responsible for the nobility education. For the pupils, the academies are the perfect place to build important relations and the source of an art, symbol of their position in the Ancien Regime society.
