摘要
This research aims to characterize the pattern of expression of BMP-15 during in vitro maturation of canine oocyte. BMP-15 is a follicular factor related to the oocyte maturation, taking part in cumulus cells expansion and resumption meiotic, however still has not been described in the bitch, whose cumulus expansion and meiotic resumption occurs with delay, hindering the replication in labs condition, limiting the success rate in the in vitro maturation of oocytes. BMP-15 is a possible responsible. By mean of western blotting and indirect immunofluorescence, BMP-15 was evaluated in canine cumulus oocyte complex (COCs) cultured during 48, 72 and 96 hours. BMP-15 is present both oocyte and cumulus cells increased its level significantly (P<0.05) while in vitro culture progress. BMP-15 is related whit meiotic progression and cumulus cells expansion. So, BMP-15 has a role in the oocyte maturation of the bitch.
