摘要：

The excellent traditional culture has a positive guiding role for the gratitude education in colleges and universities. Excellent traditional culture which has a profound cultural connotation can purify the students mind and it is a starting point for the emotional education in colleges and universities. Excellent traditional culture which is the foundation of emotional education can promote college students gratitude consciousness which can promote the implementation of gratitude education. With the continuous development of the society, the excellent traditional culture of gratitude education in colleges and universities can develop gratitude education, guide the new direction of education and improve efficiency of gratitude education.
