摘要
The paper suggests a Real Time Decision Making Neural Network System (RTDM-NNS) for control of an electromechanical, pick and place" training assembly robot. The proposed research is based on optimizing the parameters of the control system reducing the decision making time. It is accomplished by applying a CCD camera for acquisition of 2D parts to be recognized and sorted. Modules of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with a trained neural network implemented in them are used to make a real time decision about the system reaction when recognizing different 2D objects. The achieved short reaction times are good precondition for implementing the system in other real time applications.
