摘要
Radio telemetry is preferable to conventional techniques for measuring parameters such as heart rate and temperature, as it allows continuous measurement without the confounding effects of animal stress due to handling or anesthesia. The authors present data illustrating the validity of radio telemetry for measuring circadian rhythms of heart rate, temperature, and locomotor activity in conscious, unrestrained Balb/c mice.
