摘要
Considering that human body is a complex environment and biomaterials are selected to be used, a series of lab tests have to be done in order to observe time behaviour. Beside hardness tests another required one is corrosion resistance test. In this paper is presented the influence of different treating processes regarding the corrosion of biomaterials. As well, the influence of human body physiological environment over biomaterial hardness is studied in this paper. The study of formation of the protective film and biomaterial passivity on electrolyte contact has been made by analyzing electrode potential in open circuit.
