The application of second-derivative spectroscopy for direct analysis of fibrinogen and other proteins in plasma

摘要
The use of second-derivative ultraviolet (UV) absorption spectroscopy to simultaneously determine fibrinogen (FBG), human serum albumin (HSA), and gamma globulin (IgG) in plasma has been evaluated. Results from model studies employing plasma protein mixtures indicate that the accuracy of the technique is sensitive to the relative concentrations of the protein components and the degree of spectral similarity of the protein components present in the mixture.
