摘要
This paper presents the method on the stator teeth shape design in Surface-Mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (SPMSM) for reducing torque ripple. In order to examine the effect of the stator teeth shape to torque ripple, three models of the SPM motor which have the different stator teeth shapes are selected, and then FEM analysis is carried out to compare their characteristics. Then, a method about specifying a design parameter to be able to effectively reduce torque ripple is developed. By use of this method, the optimized model can be achieved rapidly and reliably. The torque ripple is reduced by cogging torque which can decrease torque value of maximum points and increase that of minimum points.
