Low-frequency shear electromagnetic waves in a nonuniform pair plasma

摘要
The hydrodynamic equations for a pair plasma along with Poisson's equation and Ampere's law are used to derive nonlinear equations for low-frequency (in comparison with the electron gyrofrequency) shear electromagnetic waves in a nonuniform hot magnetoplasma. In the linear approximation, the frequencies of the dispersive magnetic drift-shear electromagnetic waves are obtained. The results should help to understand the properties of low-frequency electromagnetic waves in strongly magnetized nonuniform astrophysical and laboratory electron-positron plasmas.
