摘要
The title compound, C15H15NO3, was prepared by stirring benzoyl chloride with 3,5-dimethoxyaniline in dioxane at ambient temperature. The dimethoxyphenyl-amide segment of the molecule is almost planar, with a C-N-C=O torsion angle of -4.1 (4)degrees. The two benzene rings are inclined at an angle of 76.66 (13)degrees. In the crystal, intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions generate centrosymmetric dimers.
