摘要：

The influence of operating variables, namely charge of oxidizers and temperature, on the brightness and strength properties of kraft pulp was investigated for five various four-stage or five-stage sequences comprising chelation, extraction and oxidation steps. In order to evaluate the effect of operating. conditions on pulp properties, the selectivity factor defined as the ratio of the change in brightness and the change in zero-span breaking length between untreated and bleached pulps was suggested. Intrisic viscosity as well as concentration of metal cations in the treated pulp were also measured to characterize the bleaching process is more-detailed.
