Development of the simulation system for cutting forces in ball-end milling

摘要
The paper presents the system for simulation of the cutting process (SCP) on the model of the ball-end milling process. The system for simulation of the cutting process combines the technological data base, the analytical and experimental model and the data base SCP. The experimental model contains a collection of variables of the cutting process by means of sensors. The analytical model is based on the statistical equation generated from characteristic coefficients of materials and cutting parameters. For some materials, the simulation system can previously show all the important cutting process variables which will later actually appear in the machining process itself.
