摘要
Multiphase meters typically measure the average density and the linear flow velocity of the mixed well stream. In addition the phase volume fractions are either measured indirectly using the dielectric constant or directly using a dual energy gamma fraction meter. Using this information combined with the individual phase densities of gas, oil and water, volumetric and mass phase fractions at metering conditions may be obtained. To comply with standard reporting methods, flow rates at metering conditions must be converted to flow rates at standard conditions. Furthermore it is often desirable with an option to calibrate the multiphase meter against conventional test separator measurements. It is shown that pressure. volume and temperature (PVT) simulation software provides an excellent solution to assist in solving these issues.
