摘要
We present measurements of the tensile strength as a function of compressive loads for a pair of xerographic toners. These toners differ on the concentration of flow control additive. Additive concentration determines the portion of toner surface covered by the additive that is used to control interparticle forces and the cohesive properties of xerographic toners. Parallel measurements using an atomic force microscope have been carried out on interparticle forces between two individual grains. The connection between bulk stresses and interparticle contact forces will be discussed.
