摘要
This paper presents a spoke-type hybrid permanent magnet motor (HPMM), which integrates the high energy rare-earth-PM and the low-cost non-rare-earth ferrite PM. Through the finite-element method (FEM), an optimization model with respect to the optimization objectives of the average torque and torque ripple are established to guarantee the desirable cost-effectiveness. The optimized motor is comprehensively evaluated for its no load back EMF, inductance characteristics and torque capability, as well as the demagnetization withstand ability. The simulation analysis results verify the validity of the motor structure and the design method of the motor.
