Microwave-Assisted One-pot Green Synthesis of 3-Methyl-4-((1-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)methylene)isoxazol-5(4H)-ones

摘要
One-pot three component Knoevenagal condensation of 1-methyl-1H-indole-3-carbaldehyde with beta-ketoesters and hydroxylamine hydrochloride under microwave irradiation in the presence of L-Proline as a catalyst gave a series of 3-methyl-4-((1-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)methylene)isoxazol-5(4H)-ones. The advantages of this protocol are green, efficient, less reaction time, easy workup, and high yields. Further, the catalyst can be recovered and reused.
