摘要
The conditions for the onset of liquid-phase instability in the combinatorial contribution of UNIQUAC are discussed. A peculiar and non-physical aspect of this predicted instability is that it is independent of temperature. It is recognized that by renormalizing the r and q parameters, this type of phase transition can be prevented. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
