摘要
This paper outlines the concept of ecological networks and habitat fragmentation through the creation of environmental barriers. It illustrates the method how existing spatial data material can be used for the three-dimensional visualisation of ecological barriers. Following that, it provides three-dimensional visualisation results for the city of Vantaa, Finland and discusses the quality and the need for these visualisations to encourage the public to participate in planning processes.
