About quantum and classical schemes of LWI and the violation of Manley-Rowe relations

摘要：

The analogy between quantum and classical systems of lasing without inversion (LWI) is developed. The realization of different regimes of simultaneous "nonresonant" amplification (or absorption) of two coherent waves coupled parametrically are demonstrated for a quantum five-level scheme. This effect conflicting with Manlew-Rowe relations is confirmed with the attraction of a quantum description of radiation and medium.
