Development of a theory for alloying element losses during laser beam welding

摘要
The physical processes which have an influence on the change in chemical composition of the weld seam during laser beam welding are analysed in this paper. The problem of evaporation and diffusion of admixtures has been solved. The results of the calculations agree well with experimental data.
