摘要
The geographical ranges of five previously described chromosome races of Sorex araneus were studied in the huge region around the Middle Volga and Southern Urals in eastern European Russia. New information on the boundaries between the races Neroosa/Mologa, Mologa/Sok, Sok/Manturovo and Sok/Yuryuzan was obtained. Our data suggest that the middle reaches of the river Volga act as a barrier both between the Sok and Mologa races and between the Mologa and Manturovo races.
