摘要
Fully-coupled fluid-structure interaction (FSI) analysis was conducted for four idealized wall/blood models. The results indicate that severe fluid disturbances provide favourable conditions for formation of atherosclerotic plaques and restenosis at downstream of the stenosis. The wall shear stress (WSS) near original lesion stenosis not only promotes restenosis of the stenotic throat itself, but also has severe consequences for the stress-strain downstream of stenotic throat.
