摘要:
Consolidation behavior of the clay ground improved by sand compaction pile (SCP) method is investigated. The influence of the penetration depth of SCPs on the consolidation behavior of the improved ground was examined by a series of centrifuge model tests, revealing that the amount and rate of consolidation settlement strongly depend on the penetration depth and the stress concentration ratio assumed to be a constant value in practical design, varies with the elapsed time of consolidation and with the penetration depth of SCPs.
