摘要
This paper proposes a buck-boost type MPPT circuit suitable for photovoltaic generation of solar car. By using an analog circuit for MPPT control, high conversion efficiency and weight reduction could be achieved by an accurate maximum power point tracking of photovoltaic generation. In order to reduce power conversion loss on wide voltage variation of the battery, buck-boost type dc-dc converter is used as a main power converter of the MPPT circuit. The proposed MPPT circuit which led to 12 sets of series-parallel was used for the solar car named "2017 Tokai Challenger" for the race and confirmed advantageous photovoltaic power generation.
