摘要：
A modified method for calculating the pion vacuum susceptibility from an effective quark-quark interaction model is derived. Within this approach it is shown that the pion vacuum susceptibility is free of ultraviolet divergence and is much smaller than the previous estimations. (C) 2003 Published by Elsevier B.V.
